Each Beer Boat departure is limited to eight passengers. One canned beer and a snack are included, and guests may also bring their own food and drinks. It is a relaxed alternative to a busy beer garden—and a lovely way to toast your summer trip.

An easy walk from Hotel Celeste Shizuoka Takajo
Hotel Celeste Shizuoka Takajo is approximately a five-minute walk from Sumpu Castle Park. Because you can walk back after enjoying a drink, there is no need to drive or rush. Shin-Shizuoka Station and Takajo’s cafés and restaurants are also nearby, making it easy to plan the entire afternoon on foot.
Check-in begins at 3:00 p.m. and is simple with your room password. Guest rooms include a refrigerator, microwave and washing machine, allowing you to unwind at your own pace after exploring the city.
Two ways to plan your afternoon
- Before or after lunch: Take the 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 p.m. boat, then enjoy lunch or a café in Takajo before checking in.
- Just before check-in: Choose the 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. departure, walk back to the hotel for a break, and head out again for dinner in Takajo.
